We had some wild and stormy days… Aaaah we needed a break and a couple of days to chill out and read and watch the rain.
And we had some glorious Autumn days – full of sunshine and flat seas.
We have a strictly “only in the kitchen or outdoors eating rule…” Nobody ever said anything about behind the couch… Nothing at all!!!
And an offering on my keyboard:
We had a heaps of songs…
And twinkling stars…
We had thank-you letters:
And a whole lot of Zoobing:
We did a whole lot of traveling… And had heaps of Australia fun…
And egg and bacon rolls for lunch… I love living with a twelve year old!!!
And a grannies engagement party and couple of new cousins to meet over egg and bacon!!!
And boys will be boys…
And our book of the week has to be this one… we have had it on our shelves for years and suddenly it resurfaced. And everyone has been pouring over every detail for hours and hours…

Hood #3: Was the entertainment.
Hood #4: Made a mace – I think it’s a mace:
Hood #5: Decided that dragon-ing is the way to go on a rainy day.

Hood #7: And helped a whole lot with grammar:
Hood #8: And there was cooking…
And some of us think that butter nut is the new Fisher Price.

I love “chill out and read” time! Probably one of my favorite activities!!! Glad you guys got a little of it. Have you thought about how you are going to print and preserve these wonderful weekly recaps… such a fantastic journal you have of all your wonderful activities. HOPE you mom’s day was SPECTACULAR!
When one of my daughters was his age, she played with a crate of apples in the corner of the kitchen for almost 2 months. We didn’t get to eat them but it was a very inexpensive toy!
