Hood #4 has moved on from paper dolls to pirate puppets… You have been warned!!! Expect to see a lot of these around!!!
This is what you are aiming for:
Let’s Meet the Players:
We used:
- Pencils
- Markers
- White crayons
- Watercolors
- Scissors
- Sticky Tape
- Toothpicks
- A Box for a puppet stage
Let’s Play The Game:
Step 1: We started by drawing heaps pirates in pencil, on cardboard.
Step 2: Then we colored the pirates in with markers.
Step 3: We snipped out the pirates and stuck toothpicks onto the back of them using sticky tape. And our pirates puppets were ready.
Step 4: We needed an ocean – white crayons and watercolors did the trick. And we snipped a wave line.
Step 5: And a pirate ship is essential. Back to the drawing board, and a couple of markers. And “The Se7ered Hoods” was launched!
Step 6: We snipped and launched our ship, we stuck it to the waves with sticky tape.
Step 7: We slid our boat and ocean into a shoebox and had a mini-puppet-stage.
The pirates were ready to play…
Gotta just love the crow’s nest!
Have Fun!
As always— I’m in awe— your kiddos have the most amazing artist abilities… they must get it from their mama!!!!!!
Hi K-M, Fantastic to have you back again!!! I know I get my inspiration from them! They have dragged my nose out of books and got me doing things again – kids are wonderfully like that!!! Love your Father’s Day Pics, well actually, all your photos are so inspiring!!! Hope you all have a great week together!
Love these. We may try with Popsicle or lollipop sticks.
