A Sunday Snippet for mother people: I love these books, so I am sharing them with you…
I think in most jobs there are times when you feel disheartened and wahaaa I just can’t do this… Well these books are the answer to the homeschool mom who is despairing at the laundry, the chores, the schooling, the read-a-louds, the science experiments, the timelines or the lack thereof! These are not deep theological ideas or intense Bible studies. They are short anecdotal single page entries around the life of a homeschool mom with se7en kids – fancy that!
Each entry starts with a Bible verse, an anecdote, a prayer and ends with a couple of questions to help you think about the topic. The topics cover a great variety of issues… some are funny some are poignant; some are encouraging when you feel down and some are a boost to keep you going. These books are great for dipping into… and from time to time I like to sit in a peaceful spot and read a couple of entries. I always feel encouraged and good to go on afterward.
Go ahead try them they have really uplifted me time and time again…
