Some days are meant for painting. A couple of weeks back we took a day off just for painting…
My kids had never painted on their own canvas before… There was a completely different feel in the air… not just our usual paper at all!!!
And one of us took it terribly seriously…
And we had a partially finished gallery… to admire…
And then we left them… till the next perfect day for painting… so good that we could take the table out doors… because art out doors is so much more fun…
And I am thrilled to announce that we need a new wall to hang up our “Wild Animal Gallery!!!”
We definitely need to add more painting days to our life!!!

I think coming back to art the next day is always exciting – makes for more intricate and thoughtful pieces, though my kids don’t always want to come back a 2nd a time.
