It is that time of year when I am frantically trying to finish our Sketchbook Project… Finish is a bit of a euphemism for “only just begun…” and there is less than a week before it has to be posted… Needless to say our kitchen table looks like a permanent collage centre and many little projects are being inspired and created on the side… projects that especially don’t involve me!!!

So today the kids tackled the saddest area of our homeschool and our rather tired and tragic looking box files that hold their workbooks got a bit of an upgrade…

First copious amounts of tape were brought into play and where masking tape had failed to hold the boxes together… packing tape did the trick!!!

Then they joined me at the table…

And ages of cutting and snipping and chatting…

And we had a couple of apartment blocks ready to install…

And all together…

A group of Apartment books… sitting back on the shelf…

And all I had to do was chat while I worked… with my kids, what a pleasure.
Now if anyone would just tell me to stop everything else and get on with our Sketchbook Project… I would so love to show you some arty progress… but their just isn’t anything worth mentioning yet!!!

Okay, you asked for it. “Stop everything else and get on with your Sketchbook Project!” Please.
Only because you asked me to tell you.
And because a bunch us of really enjoy seeing your finished sketchbooks.
Rikki, Thank you… Just what I need to hear!!!
Fabulous, as always! We actually did something similar last week, can’t wait to show my son yours! thanks so much for sharing on Craft Schooling sunday
Hay Sara, It is always fun to join in on your “Craft Schooling Sunday…” Hope you have a fabulous week!!!
Oh man you are SOO creative!! Definitely a top fav! You share a ton of ideas I wish I could just pick up and start TODAY!!! One at a time, WHERE would YOU recommend a new reader start?? Maybe I’ll email you that question as well 😀
Jeanine, no one has ever stopped and asked that before!!! I have no idea where to start… if you take a peak on the left, there are colourful blocks with all our collections – you can dive into any one of those and find nearly all our posts in that category. Wishing you all the best, happy reading!!!
