And I have a totally amazing and interesting Saturday Spot to show you later… just have to bring in the laundry, make dinner, get the kids to bed… It will be worth the wait!!!

Gotta say, we did a review of What Katie Ate earlier this week… and we got a shout out on her fabulous blog – so totally thrilled!!!

Otherwise here are some lovely links from this week:

  1. Toy Stories on LMNOP – Fabulous story, follow the links… this is just my sort of project – intriguing toys and their children all over the world…
  2. Yuppie Chef Easter Egg Hunt… For my sake I shouldn’t share this… but… if you love a good riddle and can’t help a little game of hide-and-seek…
  3. This post is just too important not to read: if you have sons or daughters you need to read this. We Are That Family’s Post: Raising Daughters in a World that Devalues Them: Se7en things We Must Tell Them.

  1. Fun & interesting links, as always! Thanks for sharing all you do – such an inspiration to me & our boys (8 & 10). By the by, any interest in more penpals? My oldest is itching to write to someone far away & get “real mail” in return. 🙂

    Happy Monday!

  2. Hi Christi… Thanks for asking about pen pals, love the idea. We are going to have to figure out our pen pal policy really soon, and we are slightly inundated at the moment… But I have a plan!!! And I intend to write about it in a week or too, hopefully so that all our keen letter writers can have some fun. Hope you have the most fabulous week!!!

  3. Hello! I read the whole article about the touch screen generation and it was very thought provoking, but also strange. The people doing the defending of kids and tech were app developers for kids. That’s pretty biased! And then when I got to the bottom I saw it was written by Hanna rosin. Google “the case against breastfeeding” to read a terrible article that set the US breastfeeding supporters on fire. I myself do not respect her very much, but I did change my mind about all apps having to be educational. Thanks again for a very thought-provoking evening whilst nursing my toddler to sleep! 🙂

  4. Those moon photographs make me want to run out and take all sorts of fun nighttime shots!!

  5. Hi Jaime, Thank you for your interesting comment. Well done on doing your research… I found her i-pad article such an interesting read, and one that I thought our readers would find interesting too. Radicle ideas on both ends of the spectrum – for and against screens is always going to stir up a little contention!!! Glad that little one of yours got to nurse to sleep… it is the best way!!! Hope you have a great weekend!!!

  6. Katherine-Marie – Aren’t those photographs incredible… it certainly made me stop and think – I could be a lot more playful when it comes to photography!!! Hope you and your family have a special weekend together!!!
