Se7en Bazzillion Cake Ideas…

August 27th, 2008 · 8 Comments

These are just the cake ideas… If you are looking for more party ideas then have a look here the Se7en Steps to a Good Party… and otherwise if you need to know more about cakes then take a look here: Party Food and Especially Party Cakes…

As you can see by the following examples – the shapes are easy and all completely doable out of everyday kitchen bowl shapes. Not to mention you can get the cakes into lovely three-dimensional shapes…

This is a starry first birthday party – place the softened ice-cream in a baking tray and then when the ice cream has frozen solid just cut out the starry shapes and you are done.

[…] Finally the cake: An ice-cream cake of course!!! Leave the ice-cream on the counter to soften. Spoon the ice-cream into the shape of a chilli pepper. Pop your chilli shape into the freezer to harden. Whip a tub of cream and split it into two batches – use food coloring for a batch of red and a batch of green. “Ice” your cake with cream and pop it back into the freezer to set. Remember you are not after perfection, an approximation is good enough, really!!! […]
