Don’t faint – my pet gripe is that so many of our sights are geared towards tourists and foreign currency and completely inaccessible to the average South African – I take all that back, but just this week!

Oh wow!!! Thank you sooooo much for the great tip about National Parks Week. Would you believe I have never been to Cape Point despite having lived in the Cape most of my life? Been wanting to go for a while now, especially since moving to Fish Hoek just over a year ago, but just too pricey for a family of 7! Now we have made plans to go on Friday. Yippee!

Hi H, Isn’t that fun!!! My kids are begging to do some wild national park thing – I feel a bit like I live in one at the moment!!! They would like to go on a long drive up the West Coast to see the Wild Flowers, I on the other want to be staying a bit closer to home right now!!!
