Se7en Quick Pockets for Corduroy…

We have been reading this book:

And so we went on a hunt for pockets and raided our worn out cargo pants… some pockets with velcro were perfect!!!

When we posted our brilliant bag bonanza a couple of weeks ago one of the bags we posted was a pocket bag… so we made a couple of pocket bags…

Then we added some faces:

And we used fabric paints to dress them:

And suddenly we had a crowd…

Once the paints were dry we tackled them with fabric markers:

A quick iron to set the paints and here we were:

And then we had se7en million pocket bags, ready to stuff with treasures!!!

  1. Hay KM, I did stop… didn’t you notice my disastrous blog week last week!!! Nothing was working!!! My computer choked on 45 000 photographs – I kid you not and I finally had to do some photographic maintenance… at the same time hubs upgraded software and changed a whole lot of hardware… I tell you it was very nearly the end of se7en +1 !!!! But we appear to be back… in a staggering frustrated kind of a way!!! So be ready for us to be winding out posts again!!! Hope you have a fun weekend!!!

  2. Oooh what a clever bit of upcycling! Love it. And love that the children pesonalised their little bags. Adorable!
