The Week That Was – 3.3

Sunny and cold…

Crisp and clear…

There was hot chocolate all round at Vida – Yum!!! And that’s how our week got going…

And cottage pie has been mastered (no final picture because wild wolves arrived at the dinner table and gobbled it up before my flash could say: “Hmmm how about a pic then?”

And this is what the Hoods got up to:

Hood #1: Did the whole shortbread thing…

Hood #2: Knows just what thrills his littlest brother…

Toot, toot!!!

Hood #3: Did some serious school…

Hood #4: Had a great week for friends…

And insisted on celebrating pneumatic tyre day at every twist and turn…

The crowd was very happy to follow him!!!

Not to mention, he turns every meal into a work of art… that would be broccoli, butternut, roast potatoes, bread and roast beef…

Hood #5: Whipped up a brilliant wild beach bird:

Our Celebrity Chef has been wanting to grill mushrooms for so long and finally we had mushrooms… a dash of butter, some breadcrumbs, some parmesan, some fresh herbs and salt and pepper…

I tell you: living with a celebrity chef has lots of lovely advantages!!!

Hood #6: Told me an interesting tale…

She wasn’t worried about that big wild dog on the beach, because it wasn’t there to eat her… (long pause)… deep thought… it was really there to eat the surfers!!! Shew!!! Really!!!
