Sunday Snippet: The Bible Institute of South Africa…

We used to live next door to the Bible Institute of South Africa, in Kalk Bay and we have made some very special friends there over the years. We have had a steady stream of students from all over the world pass through our home since we lived in the area and it has been brilliant for us to meet them and get to know them better. Life long friends from all over the world serving God in all walks of life. As parents who trying to equip our children and hope that they grow up to serve the Lord with all their hearts we have always considered The Bible Institute and the friends we have made there as a great source of inspiration for our kids. I asked the Bible Institute for a Sunday Snippet and this is what they had to say:

For the past 87 years, the Bible Institute of South Africa has been committed to equipping God’s people for service, whether in the local church or on the mission field. Today graduates of the Institute are serving God faithfully and fruitfully around the globe.

The Bible Institute’s motto is To know Christ and make Him known. It offers a variety of training programs both on and off campus, degree and non-degree, designed to enlighten the heart, renew the mind and equip for a lifetime of godly service.

The Institute has a magnificent setting on the False Bay coastline with a developed sense of community on campus. The ethos is evangelical and non-denominational and it attracts students from around the globe providing a truly international and multi-cultural setting which enriches the learning experience on campus. And now I am getting to the very best part…

Every year The Bible Institute has an Open Day in September where you can visit them, listen to speakers and chat to the staff and students. They invite a number of missionary organizations to visit on the day and they have wonderful displays and information to glean information. My kids have discovered life long pen pals and praying friends through this ministry!!!
