So here we are… wintry and wet…
I think I may have forgotten what winter was like… was it always like this? Or did we miss a couple of years?
It has been fairly intense!!!
The kind of weather that brings out the bumper sticker in people:
The beach was miserable…
And folk have been dressing for the occassion…
It wasn’t all rain…
But lets just say we are living in a laundry circus…
Every time the sun shone someone was sent out to hang socks on the sock tree…
In fact if the sun came out then so did a whole lot of little people too…
And a serious competition…
And serious play…
Friends galore…
And sharing a book…
And more book moments…
And there is one person round here who totally believes you can climb right into a book… seriously…
And plenty of laughs…
And exploring…
The Lego has resurfaced… after a few weeks off…
And I wasn’t the only one who dashed out to garden whenever the sun sneaked out…
There was scientific discovery…
And the artwork offering of the week…
And our book of the week… because some of us are wishing it was time for popsicles and swimming parties!!!
And this is what the hoods got up to:
Hood #1: Had a midweek music concert…
And loves it!!!
Hood #2: Reading again…
And again…
Hood #3: School and stuff…
Hood #4: Math in bed… it was too cold to get out from under the duvet.
Hood #5: Some chefs can’t face the day…
Until their hat is on…
Hood #6: Has taken to sorting out the kitchen…
Hood #7: This picture was specially for the girl who loves diggers…
This kid just will not feel the cold!!! Apples in the rain!!!
Hood #8: Yup apples in the rain…
New tastes to try…

Oh my! You are feeling to the cold. I’m going to miss all your beautiful blue sky photos. Not surprised that you have a huge number of inside entertainment to take your mind off it. I love your sock tree. Does it bear fruit as well as dry socks? Could this help to explain the mystery of the lone sock?
Oh Cheryl… The sock tree that just keeps on growing!!! The harder it rains the bigger it grows!!! The whole world seems to be doing summer and we have deluging rain!!! With moments of sunshine and boy are we seizing them!!! I think our posts are crossing… and wanted to say I love the castle you are knotting – tooo very cute!!! Hope you have a fun fun week!!!
