Can you believe it is the end of the year and everyone is writing exceptional fantastic collection posts… Their best posts of the year, their favorite posts of the year and even some incredible New Year Resolutions.

Well I can’t believe it is the end of the year and resolutions don’t spring to mind!!! So I thought a regular old Friday Fave post filled with a heap of my favorite links of the week would have to do the trick!!!

- As usual my kids are seriously preparing for New Years Eve…
- I discovered a new blog this week that I wish I had known about forever… just up my street: Anita Silvey’s Book-A-Day Almanac.
- Would you look at How to Make a Mini-Robot on Red Ted Art’s Blog – awesome – if Hood #2 sees this he is going to go into industry!!!
- Just have a look at all the book stuff to love – wonderful list of bookish delights from Writers Write!!!
- Photography Fun… Games to join in and play along with on Photjojo … just some fun!!!
- After two weeks off school and heaps of visitors traipsing through the house our home is a little less inspired than usual… But if you are looking for inspiration look no further than “This Organizational Loveliness on The Inspired Room.”
- And the Crafty Crow never fails with Crafty Fun for New Years Eve…
- This week on Org Junkie’s 52 Weeks we are at Week 52: Congratulations and Planning for the New Year.
- The more detailed your initial list the better – you will get distracted, but it is great to go back to and tick things off!!!
- Just jump in and take the first step, even if it is a little step… somehow starting gets you going.
- Love it or lose it!! How many times have I said that this year!
- And don’t start a project if you haven’t finished the last one – trust me on this – the ensuing chaos is just not worth it!!!
And the se7en+1th Thing: If you feel like organizing!!!

Can you believe… 52 weeks of decluttering and time to make a new list!!! I am actually quite keen to wander around our house and make a list of new projects to do… I am in the habit of doing a project or two each week!!! I can’t believe how much we really got done this year – kids and all… working decluttering and doing!!! This year we have so learnt the tricks of decluttering:
So I thought I would give you a showcase:
In the boys room we went from:
This…

To this…

And this…

To this…

Our garage went from this…

To this…

And then to this…

And room for the bikes…

We sorted the soft toys…

We sorted the kitchen cupboards…
From this…

To this…

And heaps more projects… so yes, 52 weeks has been a great project for us!!! And a huge Thank you to Laura from the Orgainzing Junkie for getting our act together and teaching us the habit of decluttering!!!
That’s us… Hope you enjoy the holidays and wishing you a fabulous 2012!!!
