I know there is felt food all over the web and I just love it – there is nothing new in this post… just a fun afternoon with a six year old that wanted his own project! Now he loves wraps and chillies so a quick and easy felt taco came to mind. This is what we got up to:
We have made felt food before, it is a great gift that kids can make themselves. Felt is forgiving and looks great even if things get cut skew or stuck off center. It just adds to the character…
Let’s Meet The Players:
- Some colorful felt fabric
- Scissors
- Fabric glue – Bostik is my friend!
Let’s Play The Game:
Step 1: Cut out your taco from a large piece of felt and then get creative adding goodies to it!
Step 2: We added crispy lettuce and peppers.
And corn and grated cheese…
Step 3: And beef strips.
Step 4: And onion rings.
Step 5: And mushrooms.
Step 6: And chilli’s of course!
Step 7: We could go on!!! But stack it up…
Roll it up.
Serve it up with corn chips.
Eat it up!
That’s it! Enjoy it! Have Fun…
