The Week that Was – 2.49…

June 7th, 2010 · 6 Comments

This was one of those weeks that literally pass by unnoticed – if it weren’t for blogging it would be totally missed!!! Just busy, busy, busy – back at school and catching up heaps of things I meant to do during our week off… but we got a bit carried away during our week off!!!

Here is my peaceful moment – a little bit of window sill farming…

It is really cold and hard to get up on the dark dark mornings…

It really has been snuggle weather…

We played some games…

We had a whole lot of haircuts…

We had an invasion…

We did some puppeteering during a sunny morning…

We did some baking…

We did some exploring…

And put our new found reading skills to good use…

Our book of the week has to be:

Shipwreck Detective.jpg

We love this book – it is one of those totally cool interactive books with postcards and maps, a compass and pamphlets… Hours of fun!!!!

And just in case you think our whole life is a piece of cake – this is the laundry ten minutes before dinner… it’s the best time to fold and pack because if it doesn’t get done we can’t eat!!!

Hood #1: Caught up with his history notes:

Hood #2: Invented something or other…

Hood #3: Did a whole lot of letter writing…

Hood #4: Took his disguise skills to the animal world and really there is no stopping him!!!

Hood #5: Is writing a book, it has taken hours off his life as he labors through it…

Hood #6: Did a whole lot of arting:

Hood #7: Helped with supper:

And lunch – she is the new pizza master of the house…

Hood #8: He is up… after what seems like months of leopard crawling he finally raised himself up off his tummy!!! And he has a new mode of transport…

Otherwise – big decisions: Do I watch the trumpeter or the inventor… I don’t mind as long as I get to watch those cute ears.

ANd I know I am going on here… but how cute is this guy:

That’s us – Have a Great Week…
