Here’s my list of my seven favorite picture books for children:

*Sylvester and The Magic Pebble by William Steig
*Mrs. Rumphius by Barbara Cooney
*Millions of Cats by Wanda Gag
*Tikki Tikki Tembo by Arlene Mosel
*Heckedy Peg by Audrey Wood
*Drummer Hoff by Barbara and Ed Emberley
*Roxaboxen by Alice McLerran

Of course, there are so many others I could add but these are the ones that I have enjoyed as a kid, my kids have enjoyed and all the kids I’ve read to over the years have enjoyed too – classics all of them 🙂

Cassi
