Se7en + 1 Easy Beastly Masks…

September 29th, 2011 · 15 Comments

Sometimes you just need to make masks… wild hairy scary masks… and they are so easy and fun…

We started out with markers and card…

And then we hauled out the paints…

And painted…

And painted some more!!!

And here is my sneaky trick for making masks last a little longer… instead of using elastic we make a headband out of card… the masks last a little longer and can be played with for hours.

One person particularly loved this part!!!

Then pop some tape onto the headband so that you can place the mask.

And then tape the mask to the headband in the correct place.

And here is the gallery…

And we were ready for an afternoon of play…

Ah…I love these! Their art is beautiful and the colours so bright and vibrant. Your kiddos are so ‘wildly’ imaginative!

And, I like the idea of using head band instead of elastic. The elastics never last long. Plus, it’s irritating on their forehead..

Hi Rashmie, You leave such great comments!!! THe elastic on makes is always pulls out… so bands just work better, especially for little people that want their mask off and on and off and on and… Hope you and your family have a great day!!!
