Se7en’s Fabulous Friday Fun #189

Another Friday Fun post on a Sunday evening… it can’t be helped, after weeks of stormy weather a tepid sun emerged!!! It had us believing that maybe September could be Springtime… and we had to get outdoors. Also we are in the season of fast and furious birthdays… so a load of birthday posts this week…

And after weeks of my email subscribers not receiving posts… it appears that we are back!!! I have missed you all and thank-you so much for stopping by to say there was a problem… I still don’t know what the problem was – all manner of tweaking and adjustments did nothing… and then I left it unattended for days and the situation righted itself… so welcome back to many of our subscribers and I am so sorry that we missed you for awhile…

You haven’t missed an awful lot… we have been surviving winter and that is about all… blogging has been somewhat sporadic as we clutch onto hot-waterbottles and read endless books under the covers with the rain just pelting down … day after day after day… Not just rain… here is a crazy video some local adventurers enjoy some rare Table Mountain Snow for the second time this winter. And I might add at the beginning of the video they are seen to be running at speed up the same mountain path that I barely survived a few weeks ago.

About the only thing we are keeping up with right now is our Word a Day Project… very slow and very steady…

Take a breathe mom, but it is less than hundred days until Christmas and for our South African Readers time to pledge Christmas Shoeboxes… Such an easy way to get your Christmas shoeboxes sorted and out to the communities that need them… and there are many ways to get involved… take a peak at their website, see what you need to put into your shoebox, register, fill up your box ad get it to a drop off point by 1 November… It really is that easy!!!
