Our new weather tree is up and flourishing… Oh YaY for summer!!!

Our New Year Tree was in full swing…

And lots of celebrations…

And exciting packages from far, far away!!!

My mum always said that the first visitor of the year has to be tall dark and handsome… I am not too sure what this little fellow, who was our first visitor, means for our year ahead!!!

And feasts!!!

And we are busy with the things of Summer…

Baking…

And beaching…

And more beaching…

And bubbles…

Heaps of bubbles…

And ice-creams at bed-time…

And beach traffic…

And WOW Traffic…

Swings…

And soccer…

And swimming…

And deck chairs…

And picnics…

And construction…

And sleepovers…

And table top games…

That everyone can play…

And towel tents…

We read some books with friends:

Lots of books:

And our book of the week has to be…

And this is what the Hoods have been up to:
Hood #1: Went on his annual pilgrimage to Maynardville, to see Shakespeare’s “Comedy of Errors” under the stars… A total blast, every second of it was brilliant!!!

And rocket science of course!!!

Hood #2: The summer of the kindle…

Hood #3: And books and books…

And villages…

Hood #4: Bikes…

And did I say construction!!!

Hood #5: And Biscuits… I think this fellow is conquering biscuits…

Hood #6: Is all ready in crafty gear for the year ahead… Kite building!!!

And fuzzy felts…

Hood #7: Is totally into baking!!!

And this girl just can not swim enough…

Hood #8: This guy lives and breathes for the beach…

And just so we don’t ever forget, he has the cutest way with pronouns, and we all lot fit so that we may never let him grow out of it!!! He talks about: me dog, me book, me anything at all… instead of my dog, my book and so on. Of course if something is yours then it is: you book, you bed… we love it poor kid!!!

That’s us, Hope you have a fabulous week!!! If you enjoy reading our Week That Was posts… then feel free to follow our daily ins and outs on Twitter…
Oh Summer! Almost forgotten. So that’s what it looks like. So drizzly and cloudy here. Catching up with the new year and wanted to wish you all a happy new year!
It is so fun to see all your summer adventures while we are in the dead of winter. Lovely week with a lovely family.
Your first visitor of the year may not have been tall and dark, but he is certainly very handsome! Maybe he came to suggest we could all slow down a bit, and still win the race.
Hay Phyllis – So good to have you stop by!!! We are so enjoying summer at last… it was worth the long wait this year!!! I so enjoy all your pinning on Pinterest!!! Have a great day!!!
Hay Granny Ant, Definitely not the tall dark visitor we might have expected!!! Hope you have a great week!!!
