Well I have never had such a unanimous response to a post before… But there was such a huge response to this weeks GiveAway Winner… how many readers have contacted me to find out about the game board!!! Now I might be “extremely gifted” at homeschooling (Wahahaha – Redeem Diva – you are so funny!!!), Note to self publish a lot more of my failings… not all mind you!!! but I did not make our game board!!!
So here it is:
Our very worn game mat that has been loved and adored and is in almost every photograph taken in our kitchen…
So I took a couple of pictures for you and highly recommend it – it is zippable, wipeable and sturdy:
It folds up like a book:
It is light – all the bits and pieces are sponge and all fit in a bag.
And there are more than a few games hidden within it… checkers, tic-tac-toe, snakes and ladders, chinese checkers, mancala and backgammon. And just a few others we made up!!!

How many game pieces come with mat? Bought mine at secondhand.store. I have 37 small disc and 4 large do I have enough?
Hi Lenoir, I will get one of my kids to count the pieces and get back to you… the game board is so fun that I would think you could make up the pieces should any of them be missing… but I will let you know soonest.
