Just look at that title. Look at that title… Almost 52 weeks have past since our last blog-a-versary. Which means that a blog-a-versary is looming and you are very very close to a swap of sorts!!!
What can I say a week of glorious sunshine:
It might be sunny but it’s cold and blankets on the couch for the early birds are essential:
With one glorious misty day – there is a picture of the bay, someone stole our beach!!!
And the mountain peeping through:
Otherwise there was lots more gym and we made it through two weeks of holiday club. But it took its toll and my little guys have all had streaming colds. The question begs asking, after a week of wiping noses, just how much snot can a small child contain… trust me it is impressive!!! And our “down time” went up enormously with whole afternoons devoted to play-do.
And out popped a man in a chair and a dragon:
There was a very private project… I still don’t know!!! It involved a lot recycling goodies and an about an entire roll of packing tape and a heap of sighs!!! It took place behind closed doors or should I say behind all our postcards from our readers!!!
And a heap of arting:
And potential arting:
And actual arting:
And a load of unpacking – or is that packing? Quite hard to tell!!!
And yes I did say he could buy whatever he liked with his birthday money…
And food – there is always a heap of food going on in our house:
And the keyboard contribution of the week has to be:
And just in case you think we have forgotten the World Cup… we have a giant Vuvuzela…G.I.A.N.T.
Our book of the week… well when small people are under the weather we rely on these guys to pull us out of the doldrums…
Meanwhile, a week or so ago I posted a desperate need to get the mending done… and I can say a pile of chores have been done in the name of work avoidance… boxes squashed and sent to recycling, projects sorted and favorites saved, I even considered defrosting the freezer that is in a very desperate state… anything to avoid the mending… strange – I love getting the mending done – it has just gotten to be such a B.I.G. task that I can’t face it… I am telling you this in the hopes that it jogs my conscience into gear – I will let you know if it works!!!
This is what the hoods got up to:
Hood #1: Showed his little sister Club Penguin and she was intrigued!!!
Hood #2: Showed his little brother the world. His little brother needed a nap!!!
Hood #3: Showed me why I was so relieved that I don’t go to kids gym. I was not designed for this, but they are clearly loving it!!!
Hood #4: Shows how to do the “Air-Guitar:”
And he whipped up a stage coach during history reading…
Hood #5: Was severely under the weather, but took his ailments to the great outdoors. There is nothing like a bit of crisp cold air for a speedy recovery!!!
Hood #6: Showed us that arting is not just a profession it’s a passion:
Hood #7: Showed us the way when we stopped for a quick Outdoor Adventure.
Hood #8: Showed us how he can stand for hours and play happily…
Just as long as there is someone there to “help” him!!!
That’s us. Have a Great Week!!!
