So have you met the amazing team of Peter Stein and Bob Staake… picture books that you totally have to love… we certainly did!!! Here is a book packed with amazing artwork that inspired us to try our own…

This is number se7en in our series of se7en + 1 fabulous Crafty book Giveaways… Read on, read on…

The illustrations in these books are just totally and unbelievably fun!!! Intriguing and lots to look at!!! Who can resist a house cars, rock ‘n roll cars, even a Noah’s Ark car… Cars Galore is more than your average car book… There is a fast funny and funky poem winding it’s way through the book… tracking the cars with a glorious beat. You have to know we loved this book!!! There is enough bounce in this book, and endless intriguing vehicles to examine to keep our youngest member of the gang quiet for hours on end… And the somewhat whimsical last line of the book: “Someday you’ll drive” … well all my kids literally lit up when they read that line!!! Nothing like a little creative intrigue!!!
Speedy Car Art in a Nutshell
Invite your artists…

To paint…

A couple of cars…

And you can trust them to come up with a whole variety of vehicles…

An entire fleet of vehicles…

We needed to add a bit of speed to our cars, and the easiest way to do that is to cut the picture into slivers… and then glue them onto paper with a little bit of stagger from piece to piece. Literally you can create cars careering around bends or just wobbling down the street using this technique…

Quick and Easy Speedy Vehicles… Easy artiness!!!
