And a tiger joined us for tea…

The Facts…
We started by finding out se7en + 1 facts about Henri Rousseau:
- He was a French Man.
- He was born in 1844.
- He never went to art school, he just loved art.
- He was a customs officer before he retired to become an artist.
- He never visited the jungles that he was so famous for painting… a close inspection reveals that his jungles consist of houseplants.
- He was quite convinced that he was a great artist…
- He was not popular amongst local artists… but Picasso loved his work.
- He had nine children…
And the se7en + 1th Fact…
The Gallery…
We went exploring in his gallery… And then we created our own gallery…

The Project
A pile of brown paper on the table outside in a sunny spot. And leaves were created throughout the day…

Piles and piles of leaves were created by every passer by… and then someone added a tiger to the mix and we now have a tiger creeping through the jungle in our courtyard.

Really there is a tiger out back…
