Todays the day that so many folk go back to work after their summer break and our seaside town will begin to return to normal… its a week or two before schools go back and we are biding our time, waiting to reclaim our beach…

Reading Myself: Harry Potter… the Series… my kids were shocked to discover that I haven’t read it and have challenged me to read it in two weeks… sigh. I am not loving it yet… hoping that it grabs me really soon!!!

Listening (I absolutely love audiobooks): Bill Bryson’s A Walk in the Woods; Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and The Goldfinch.
Watching with the Kids: The Jungle Book…
Watching Myself: The Crown on Netflix… watched the whole series over Christmas…
Planning: Our Calendar for the year…
Eating: The summer of crustless quiches, and whatever is in the fridge or the garden popped into them.
Snacking: On Swiss Chocolate, thanks to a visit from the father person’s lovely Swiss cousin.
Drinking: Peach tea for the win.
Discovered: Sudoku… oh man… there is silence in the house as everyone is lost in Sudoku!!!
Exercise: Evening ambles down to the beach for ice-cream ’tis the season. Exercise with a purpose!!!
