The Week That Was…

July 4th, 2008 · No Comments

If you give your kids some tea (and some coffee for mam) after a Sunday afternoon nap…

They will want to talk about having friends round for pizza and “all” the toppings the previous evening…

IMG_2500.JPG

And while they are chatting you have a chance to plan the week and a trip to the library first thing Monday morning. And if Monday morning looks like this even though it is the middle of winter here…

IMG_2466.JPG

Your kids will come home from the library and read a couple of carefully selected books…

IMG_2524.JPG

And your kids will be reminded that they have to sail the se7en seas and make an ocean going gallion before lunchtime…

IMG_2470.JPG

And all this industry will remind them that they will have to stop work and have a snack of jelly slices…

IMG_2537.JPG

And if they have a snack of jelly slices they will have to have a recovery rest in the hammock…

IMG_2479.JPG

And if they rest in the hammock it will give them a chance to remember that we have a birthday to celebrate…

IMG_2566.JPG

And if we celebrate a birthday the mother person will be reminded that she has a 6 month old and a two year old that are BOTH teething and are up all night every night…

And when the mother person remembers why she feels so fatigued, she will need to give her kids some tea – and a little coffee for herself.

Hope you all have a great weekend and apologies to Laura Numeroff for my hideous prose!
