So it’s cold and wet… really wet and stormy!!! Nice, not the summer we are all looking forward to… still it’s nice to have some wintry weather. That is as long as I don’t think about the impending laundry!!!
We took a trip to the Waterfront… on a gorgeous, wind free, sunny day!!!
The guys had some birthday money to spend, so they went on a hunt for real tools…
The girls had other things to do, like try out all the chairs…
Finally all our exploring was done and we headed home!!!
Otherwise we had a pretty typical week – we did some school…
We got to gym…
We shared some snacks…
And don’t tell the LEGO police about this!!!
There was one particular sleepy head…
And since we are all about the little people!!! You know you live with a creepy crawler when the tops of their feet are dirtier than the bottoms!!!
My weekly contribution has been a young fellow who has been planting rainbows all over the place. I guess we are more than ready for some summer sunshine!!!
The book of the week has to be this one, it was a birthday present for our Celebrity Chef and his is busy packing it with post-it-notes… just a few things to try!!!
Hood 1: Has discovered movies… and his comic books have become movies of the most hysterical kind!!!
Hood 2: Well wires, soldering, more wires and so on…
Hood 3: Earned herself a build a bear… and is officially the happiest kid in the world!!!
Hood 4: Has been exploring the garden, making an inventory and planning our garden…
Hood 5: Measured the entire house… everything in site!!! Is this a chef thing?
Hood 6: Well nesting and library books… what could be better!!!
And has begun the book writing challenge of the year.
Hood 7: She has given up on “the wink.”
and is on a painting spree…
Hood 8:We thought he was sleeping, but he was standing right behind us watching us hang the washing through the window – so much for sleep!!!
And then there are Bouncy Balls…
That’s us!!! Have a great week!!!
