I always new I would write a book… I just didn’t realize it would be a picture book with my kids about “A Day in Our Lives.” But we did it!!! We created a book and posted it by the deadline… it is on it’s way to become part of the Sketchbook collection at the Brooklyn Art Library!!! Very Exciting stuff and hopefully one day someone will lay their hands on it and read it!!!
Our house was chaos of shredded papers and snippets of fabric and half a pipe-cleaner and two markers and pencils and paints and drawing pens and life went on through all of it and it was a lot of fun!!! Trust me on this, you want to write a book with your kids!!! Here’s the cover, not too inspired but hay it is what’s inside that counts!!!
Meantime you can have a sneak peak at some of our pages. And the happy truth about life with se7en + 1 kids: All of us…
We aired our laundry…
We swept…
We practiced…
We shopped…
We mended…
And we baked…
And of course our favorite thing… we read…
This was just a taste, if you would like to see our complete book, then follow the link…

Hi Sara, Thank-you… we had such fun and to be honest the only way I could consider a project would be to do it with my kids!!! There is NO other way!!! Hope you are having a good week!!!
Congratulations on your book. I hope one of your planned lessons is to teach your child to spot the spelling and grammatical errors in your blog.
Hi Homeskool, Glad you liked our book!!! I can assure you that I will never ask my kids to correct the grammar or the spelling on our blog!!! Since all our blogging happens between mid-night and four in the morning it is quite amazing that there aren’t even more errors. Mistakes are part of the package, we are human after all!!!
Heya jujst wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a feww of the images aren’t loading correctly.
I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue.
I’ve tried it in two different internet brkwsers and both show thee same results.
Hi Sallie, Thanks for stopping by, I am having a problem with my images… I am trying to figure it out and resolve. It is indeed a linking issue, linking to flickr. I am hoping I want have to go back and link thousands of past images – really scary thought!!! Meanwhile you can look at our sketchbook photographs over here. Thanks again and hope you have a great week.
