The Week Ahead is a Free Week of Entry to SanParks…

Once a year Our National Parks have free week of entry… and this is the week, from 14-19 September 2015. Starting from Monday, South African citizens with a valid I.D. document with them, can enter most parks for free. You can read the official announcement here… and all the fine print for particular parks here. There is fine print, you need to check out each individual park that you are planning to visit because I would hate you to get to the gate and hear: “Terms and Conditions apply.” So do read the fine print and then head out with your I.D. book and enjoy.

  1. Hay Christi… I know and I am wildly dropping things form our schedule to try and fit a good hike in. this is such a great initiative. Most locals, ourselves included, just can’t afford to get into the parks… so we fully intend to make use of it and I have a feeling our parks are going to be quite busy!!! Hope you all had a good weekend!!!
