- Easy Chapter Books:Dick King-Smith is one of my favorite authors, anything by him is a good read:
- My Father’s Dragon Series: This story is about a boy who packs his backpack with stuff and then goes to an island. There is a brilliant map. He manages to use all that he packed in very interesting ways to rescue a baby dragon in distress.
- Chapter Books:Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke:
- Dragon Manuals:Anything by Cressida Cowell: in the Heroic Misadventures of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III series, here are se7en of them:
