Another week that was…
And the seasons are definitely changing…
The beach is looking fabulous…
There were gloomy days…
There were green seas…
And sea-shells…
For all the wintry moments, there was still some hoods in the splash…
A fan club…
And the ice-breaker…
He did it… and then they all tumbled in and joined him!!!
There was time for picnics…
And time for serious chats…
And I have never ever had a anybody bring a dessert round for dinner like this one before – Isn’t it fabulous!!!
There was time for school…
And a moment of quiet, just the one!!!
And visitors… We had some celebrity bloggers over… my first ever blog meet up!!! Have a look at this bundle of cuteness:
Seriously is this not the cutest visitor you have ever ever ever ever seen…look again…
He just fitted right along in…
And look what he brought with him…
The cutest little brother on this earth… really!!! Really!!!! These guys can visit anytime!!! I was so excited to have them visit that I took about five photographs – if you only knew me!!! I am a five photos a second kind of girl. My breathe was taken away by their sweetness!!!
Meanwhile, there were scientific endeavors…
And headstands…
And I had to have eight … before I had one who went off and found his own project of digging up the lawn!!! Not that our lawn is precious… just no-one else thought of it before!!!
There was plenty of time for games…
And some version of Snap…
There were athletic events…
And heaps of artwork…
Painting…
And watercolors…
And little clay horses…
And a mountain of artworks on my desk… just to choose the artwork of the week was quite impossible…
And our Book of the Week that I have read every single night at bedtime, but it is so sweet and funny and the illustrations are brilliant…
"Our Animal Friends At Maple Hill Farm" (Alice Provensen, Martin Provensen)
And this is what the Hoods got up to:
Hood #1: My kid has vanished into the world of Sonlight’s British Literature… and he is loving it!!!
Hood #2: Revived an ancient laptop and is consequently king of the world…
Hood #3: Was very generous with sleepovers…
Hood #4: The feather finder was in action…
Hood #5: Was not able to spend the week up the tree, but it was worth a try!!!
And after a couple of weeks off, he is racing towards the end of the 100 lessons…
Hood #6: Was in charge of plotting and planning…
Hood #7: Was in charge of organizing the troops…
All sorted…
Hood #8: And our joy and delight…
Meanwhile will you look at this last bit of cuteness…
I can’t believe we have been blessed with this bundle of cute!!!
