The Week That Was – 3.23…

So here we are… sun, sun, sun and howling gales… remember Cape Town summer!!! I always forget the wind just blows and blows and blows!!!

We are in the midst of a major garden frenzy…

And then the boys… well they had haircuts too, in between bringing frogs in to explore the salon… sigh!!!

And we celebrated a Great Birthday… my Dad affectionately known as Grandfather Clock, after the song, celebrated eighty years!!! And we went out to lunch, to one of our favorite spots!!!

Hood #1: Was making miniature movies around the Ancient world – there is the Parthenon and an Aqueduct, and an orator!!!

  1. We love ‘The Foot Book’ too! I love hearing my just 2-year-old reciting the words! “Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb” by Al Perkins is similar and is another of our favourites. It sounds like you had a wonderful week!

  2. Good morning! What is the book Hood # 7 is reading with Grandfather Clock?? (Love Love LOVE that name!! The song is one of my all time favourite sing a long songs!) Looks like something we would love around here! I did a quick search but was not able to find something with the same cover. Could you maybe give me the author’s name? Yesterday was a public holiday and I think we had a week in a day as we reveled in time off: naps, baking, gardening, reading… aah!!! I love the things that summer brings !!!
