Saturday Spot: The Great Kalk Bay Round-Up…

August 29th, 2011 · 11 Comments

Kalk Bay is one of the most searched for items on our blog so I thought I would pop all our Kalk Bay Posts into one spot for you:

There is so much to do there…

  1. Se7en of the Best Things to Do in Kalk Bay.
  2. Kalk Bay Book Shop – A favorite haunt.
  3. Visit the Bible Institute.

There is so much to eat there…

  1. The Ice Cafe and our Birthday Tradition.
  2. More About Kalk Bay: The Very Best Place to Eat Fish in Cape Town…
  3. Satori’s for Traditional Pizza.
  4. Brad’s Wonderful Bistro for Cape Home Cooking.
  5. Tribeca for coffee and scrumptious salads and gorgeous cakes.

Sometimes at the end of a weekend you just need to go for a walk along Kalk Bay harbor wall…

Look at the boats…

Admire the Boats…

Head on down the one-side…

Towards the lighthouse…

Touch the lighthouse…

Linger a little…

Watch the fishermen…

Deeply admire a young man, who caught a tiddler!!!

And back again…

Last look at the boats…

The sun goes down…

And past the gulls…

And home for supper… Hope you have a great week!!!

Just back from a walking holiday and am slightly envious of your evening walk. It looks just like a series of holiday postcards. I know a certain little chap in our family who would love those boats.
