The Week That Was 3.46

Another week that was… It was slow and sluggish as we were in recovery after our bout with a bug…

It turned out to be a serious week of play… tea-parties…

And wonderful visits with friends from afar…

And chalk dust… lots of it!!!

And how could these feet have grown three sizes since February… and he isn’t even the kid I call flippers!!!

There was ironing… of shirts made so long ago that I am amazed they weren’t totally forgotten.

And after ironing his way through everyone’s t-shirt he discovered this one and tells me we need to do more spelling… because that says “junior coach”…

And there was reading of books…

And someone springing a surprise on their mother… it worked, nearly died of fright!!!

And the youngest member has added a new favorite to his vast collection of favorite books. So our book of the week is this one as he carefully packs in a bazillion new words a day. This book is packed with new words and lots of things to spot and find.

And this is what the hoods got up to:
Hood #1: Is never ever coming out of the tree.

Hood #2: Has planned a marble run to climb the highest hills and fly over the bumpiest bumps… it is still in the planning phase!!!

Hood #3: Laughed till she cried…

Hood #4: The reading bug may have hit… I am holding my breathe.

And his life has life been made, by the arrival of a suit. He has wanted one forever – he calls it his tuxedo. And has not changed out of it since it has arrived.

Hood #5: And shapes, shapes, shapes…

Hood #6: Tells me it is so very imprtant to do arting… right… I will take the message and get onto that!!! This girl needs projects!!!

Hood #7: Has finally confessed that she may have had something to do with that haircut!!! Just a little trim mind you!!!

  1. So great to see all the faces we love so much. What a beautiful collection of short people you have been blessed with. Love your weeks full of arting – our art supplies have been neglected of late. Can’t wait for summer and no more extra-murals! Lots of love from all of us!!!

    Oh! I should mention where we’re posting from! We live in the US – an Apache Reservation, Arizona. I call this place the “land of the scorpions”. We have creepy crawlies too, of the high desert variety!!!
