Se7en’s Fabulous Friday #154

Wow, almost mid-January… Most schools in Cape town will be starting their new year this week… and while there will be many moans and groans about having to get up and out of the house early again for lots of Cape Town families… we intend to celebrate with heaps of fun GiveAways right here on our blog… Lots and lots of loveliness. Just so you know to keep on coming back for more!!!

Here are some lovely links from this week:

  1. Don’t mind if I do a hop and a skip and a jump… but we have a craft that made it into Family fun Magazine: Home Tweet Home. (with permission of course). A magazine I’ve been reading since before we had kids and never ever dreamt we would actually have a moment inside it!!! How totally cool is that… our teeny tiny bird houses got a feature!!!
  2. OK… My days of thinking well done for making a batch of play-doh are definitely over… You have to look at this incredible post on Imagination Tree this week, not one but a bazillion ideas: A-Z of Playdough Recipes and Activities!!!
  3. If you haven’t yet seen: Welcome to Harry’s Hardware on Katie’s Creative Space… then head right over there… The play spot that is so cool that you may not want to share it with your kids!!!
  4. Having survived se7en four year olds so far… Copyblogger has such a great and very accurate post: 9 Persuasion Lessons You Can Learn from a 4-year-old.
  5. Just in case you are planning to write a book, this is a very handy post too Six Things I Learned about Publishing a Book that Very Few Books Will Tell You. (on Huffington Post).
  6. And for all the “Year’s in Review Posts,” this is the one to read… actually it is two posts, but it is Katherine Marie’s and totally awesome, month after month of totally inspired fun: Part One and Part Two.
  7. Spotted on The Kitchn: Tetris Cookies… on Sweet Explorations Hold my breathe, I love them!!!
  8. And the se7en + 1th links:

  9. And this humbling post is for all of us who think we will always stand up for what we believe, and reminds you of how often you just don’t: Ashamed of the Gospel spotted on Tim Chalies’ A La Carte this week.

And that’s us – hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!!!
