And so we are in the midst of Autumn… Notice that I didn’t mention the W_nter word… we refuse to believe it exists… but the blankets have been creeping out of closets and the days are a lot shorter than they have been…

The season is definitely changing… You can expect lots and lots of cocoa ‘o clock photographs on our instagram feed…

Hours and hours of sitting around the table… cocoa…

And giggles…

And cookies…

Lemon…

And Chocolate chip…

The time of year that is all about the sky… glorious sunrises…

Blue skies…

Crystal clear blue skies…

And stunning sunsets…

And long lingering beach days…

Otherwise, chess for breakfast…

Endless adventuring…

And dinner after dark…

And getting all your little friends up and ready for the day…

Game season has arrived as well…

Playing and playing and playing…

And endless LEGO, of course…

An advancing WOW army…

And little little people celebrating Easter…

Building elaborate houses…

And plans for dinner…

Picnics at the kitchen table…

There have been little monsters…

And even a reindeer…

And the dilemma in the age of construction and destruction…

Some surprising gifts…

Piles and piles of library books…

And best friends…

A Woodworking frenzy…

And the Artwork of the Week

And flowers and flowers and flowers…

And reading…

And reading…

And reading…

And the Book of the Week

I confess, this is not from the library and we did not receive it for review purposes… I saw it. I loved it and I bought it!!! This is the ultimate book about every type of animal… The Visual Encyclopaedia of Life on Earth and we are loving it… All of us. It has been sitting on our coffee table for a week or two now and as folk come into the room they dip into it… it is indeed a dipper. Every time you peak inside there is a fresh page of facts. It is a DK book and so all about the incredible photographs, an amazing fact or two and then more and more stunning photographs… we are just totally loving it. Follow this link to take a peak inside.
And this is what the Hoods have been up too
Hood #1: Trumpeting and trumpeting and trumpeting…

Hood #2: Screen time…

Hood #3: Baking frenzy…

Hood #4: Who is this chap…

Really, who is this?!

Hood #5: Wheels…

Hood #6: Hairdo’s…

Hood #7: Very early mornings…

Hood #8: Deep Concentration…

And that is us… taking a week off everything and spending time just hanging out together… hope you are all having the most fabulous week too!!!
Getting excited about reading more. Great blog post.Really looking forward to read more. Great.
Love the peek into your life and the cocoa o’clock. Here it’s tea time. My kids are becoming teapots like I am 🙂
Love your picture with your children going to the library. I have only three and they lov going to the library. We walk there for about 2 km and then back. Right now we are still using a push chair. And we fill it with books. I mentioned your lovely library bags to my children trying to prepare them for the time when they are going to carry all the books bythemselves. The oldest has a question for you. How often do you go to the library. We usually go there once a week with the heeps of books. Have a wonderful weekend.
Vida, So many folks have asked us library questions this week… I think I will definitely have to write a library post!!! And we usually go once a week… we are allowed se7en books on a card… so that’s a book a day and then we need more!!! Hope you all have a fun weekend!!!
