The Week That Was – 2.34

Another Week That Was and look…

We had a rainy day (one little blue leaf – top right hand corner)!!! Well a spit and a spot. Unfortunately we wasted it, no indoor forts, no snuggling stories. In fact most of us didn’t even know it happened. We had had a tummy bug and one by one the hoods went down. There were little collapsed heaps through out the house. I should look this good when I am near death!

And then they bounced back!!! We had visitors with enormous feet:

And chocolate brownies:

And tie dyes:

There were outings:

And explorations:

There was beaching:

And burying:

There were beasts galore:

And dragonflies: mini-ones and maxi-ones…

And books:

And play:

And play:

And play:

The great book shuffle has begun as we prepare to make gaps on our shelves for new books… and then we had a brain wave… Can you guess, no space for beds just get a book case!!! Only joking of course, though some of us were quite serious about it:

And the book of the week has to be this big fat book, that Hood #3, borrowed and devoured!!!

And this is what the hoods got up to:

Hood #1: Built the world.

Hood #2: Went birdwatching:

Hood #3: Stayed up late every night watching the winter olympics with the father person!

Hood #4: Did some serious science in his usual showman style and otherwise I just don’t know!

Hood #5: Grew a mustache.

Hood #6:Helped us cope with an ice-cream outing.

Hood #7: Did a whole lot of observing and took Greek Myths to the limit…

Hood #8: Did a lot of observing and hiding from the sun… oblivious to the world, fast asleep under his sisters dress!!!

Not to mention he knows how to keep his siblings entertained…
