I have given away books in this series before… and here you go Kings, Pharaohs and Bandits: The World of Abraham to Esther (Footsteps of the Past).

Another great Day One book that takes a stroll through the Egyptian collection at the British Museum. We took a wander ourselves one rainy afternoon through the British Museum a couple of years back and what a great spot it turned out to be!!! Their website is packed with resources you can do a couple of online tours and have a look at specific objects online and they have a brilliant spot for young explorers.

Back to the book it is full of great projects and crafts and factoids and links to the museum site. Pages on the Rosetta Stone and Mummies to name a few. Here is a preview of some of their crafts: An inlaid model and an Assyrian Siege Engine.

In honor of this great GiveAway I challenged my kids to find se7en Activities relating to Ancient Egypt in 30 minutes, it quickly became an hour!!! So here are se7en crafty ideas with love from the gang at se7en:
