Who doesn’t like some amazing animal antics… here we go… this isn’t anything new, but the results are always spectacular… Scratch art is one of our quickest and easiest arty project that you can do again and again on any theme and everyone always enjoys it… Especially our youngest artist, who can think of nothing better than smothering anything in black paint!!!
This is number five in our series of se7en + 1 fabulous Crafty book Giveaways… Read on, read on…
This book, Wild Adventures by Michaela Strachan was given to us by PanMacmillan South Africa for review… and it is fabulous fun!!! A poetry book, full of fun rhymes, facts and funny, beautiful photographs and cartoons… it has the feel of a “good place to linger” and learn more about the wild world of animals without making any effort!!! We really enjoyed it!!!
Scratch Art Animals in a Nutshell
Smother your paper in colours – we use oil pastels because the colours are unbeatable!!!
Any which way will do…
Then cover it completely in black acrylic paint…
All over… everywhere…
Then we used a nail, honestly we do this project so often that I keep a bag of nails specially, to scratch some animal art…
