On we go with our Thirteen Peak Journey… and another Peak and another Day. At this stage all the peaks we did became our favourite… But Suther Peak stands out as one that we absolutely loved and crushed!!!

An Early Start and a Happy Finish…

I have to say, I can’t understand why this isn’t one of Cape Town’s favourite hikes… it is challenging, but not too challenging… its vertical, but so are all the other peaks… this is a fabulous hike and a beautiful day certainly helped.

But we were up and off… and keen…

Stopped for a pause… they look like they are wide awake… but not so much!!!

Onwards and upwards…

Fun times…

And really close…

It looks so much more daunting than it is, it is indeed really climbable.

Up and over…

Getting there…

Almost…

And there we were…

Spectacular Views from the Mountain Top…

Breakfast on a Mountain Top…

This has become our new normal…

And time to head down again…

It looks worse than it was!!!

This smile says it all…

Looking back, it doesn’t look so bad…

All in all a fantastic hike…

Start to finish, this mountain was great…

Nearly there…

Across the sand dunes…

Last bit…

And we were done, with the help of our Best Balega Socks…

Gallery of Champions…
